Woman who accused Jay-Z and Diddy of s£xually ass@ulting her when she was 13 is heard on a tape denying her own allegation

Carter’s attorney stated that “the tape speaks for itself” and should remove any doubt regarding his innocence.

“In no uncertain terms, she says that Mr. Carter did not do this. It’s effectively a lie, and the only reason he is even involved is because she was pressured to implicate him,” attorney Alex Spiro told ABC News in an exclusive interview.

Jane Doe, in a sworn declaration, maintained her claims but said she dropped her lawsuit out of “fear of intimidation and retaliation from Jay-Z” and his supporters.

She also denied telling investigators that attorney Tony Buzbee sought her out as a client or that he encouraged her to make false accusations against Jay-Z. According to her, she felt “intimidated and terrified” when confronted at her doorstep, as the investigators already knew her name and address.

Spiro refuted any claims that the investigators coerced or threatened her.

“She voluntarily met with them, spoke to them, and told them her truth, which was that under no circumstances did Mr. Carter do this,” Spiro asserted.

Jay-Z, one of the world’s best-selling artists with over 140 million albums sold, is married to Beyoncé, and they have three children. His attorney emphasized how deeply this situation has affected the Carter family.

“It’s difficult to hear a false allegation about you, see it spread across the internet, and have it impact your children,” Spiro said. “It’s tough on him. It’s tough on anyone. But what he does is prove his innocence. Hopefully, today marks the final chapter, and they can move forward. That’s what Jay does.”

Carter is now pursuing a defamation lawsuit against Jane Doe and Tony Buzbee, both of whom deny the allegations.

“The full truth had to come out. This person cannot be allowed to evade accountability for making a false accusation,” Spiro stated.

A recording has surfaced featuring the woman, who alleged she was 13 when Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulted her after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. In the recording, she agrees that Jay-Z did not assault her and claims her attorney pushed her to sue him.

Since then, the lawsuit against Jay-Z and Combs has been withdrawn with prejudice, preventing it from being refiled.

An excerpt of the recording, obtained by ABC News, captures a conversation between Jane Doe and two private investigators working for Carter.

“He was just there, but he didn’t have anything to do with any sexual acts towards you?” one investigator asked. “Yeah,” she responded.

Spiro maintains that Jay-Z has never even met Jane Doe.

In the same recording, she tells the investigators that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, encouraged her to file the lawsuit against Jay-Z.

“He was the one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with Jay-Z,” she stated.

“Buzbee did?” the investigator asked. “Yeah,” she confirmed.

However, Buzbee has strongly denied this accusation, calling it a “blatant lie.”

“The idea that I pushed Jane Doe to bring a case against Jay-Z is directly contrary to all documentary evidence,” Buzbee said in a statement to ABC News.
