A 15-year-old teenager from Cincinnati, Ohio, has been charged with murd£r after allegedly fatally sh00ting his stepfather, Levonte Hyde, 30, following an incident of domestic violence. According to authorities, Ronez Joyce is accused of sh00ting Hyde approximately 12 times at their home after witnessing him assault his mother.
The incident occurred just a day after Joyce’s mother filed a police report stating that Hyde had punched her multiple times in the face while they were driving home from the store. Court documents revealed that the mother had “visible injuries to her face” following the assault. The report detailed that Hyde had called her a vulgar name during an argument, which escalated into physical violence while they were in the car.
Upon arriving home, Joyce allegedly confronted Hyde and shot him. Police responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m. and found Hyde suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center but was later pronounced dead.
Joyce was taken into custody and appeared in court on Friday, where he denied the charges. He is being held in custody until his next court hearing on March 3. A criminal complaint filed by the Hamilton County Municipal Court noted that Hyde and Joyce’s mother shared two children together.
