Manchester United is reportedly considering a €40 million offer plus Rasmus Hojlund in exchange for Victor Osimhen. The English club had previously shown interest in the former African Player of the Year, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray but will return to Napoli at the end of the season with a €75 million release clause.
According to *Calciomercato.com* (via *Football Italia*), Manchester United is unwilling to meet Osimhen’s full transfer fee but is preparing a deal involving €40 million and Hojlund. Earlier reports from *Repubblica* in January indicated that United had attempted to sign Osimhen during the winter transfer window, but the striker declined to leave Galatasaray mid-season.
Osimhen has been in exceptional form since joining Galatasaray on loan, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists in 19 Turkish Super Lig appearances. He has also impressed in the UEFA Europa League, contributing six goals and one assist in seven matches. Overall, the 26-year-old Super Eagles star has 20 goals and five assists in 26 matches across all competitions this season.
In contrast, Hojlund has struggled during the 2024-25 season with Manchester United, managing only seven goals and one assist in 32 appearances across all competitions.
