Suspected bandits disguised as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) abducted 10 people from White Hill Hotel on Shiroro Road in Chanchaga Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger State. According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred around 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2025.
The armed men reportedly posed as EFCC officials conducting an operation, disabling the hotel’s CCTV cameras before forcibly taking guests from their rooms. The victims were taken to an unknown location.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Intelligence Department (Acpol SID), confirmed that investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators and locate the abducted individuals. Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities as efforts to uncover the details of the attack intensify.
